Lets face it, if you are building up a modest wardrobe to create your seasonal fashion its much easier to go with a basic dress like a half sleeve maxi, or a quarter sleeve version which are our best sellers. These are always sought after because they can easily blend well with a belt, scarf, hat or other great accessories that can make them versatile and give them a different look each time.
Solid Maxi Dress accessorized by scarf and belt
When your shopping for a church dress or something for a formal occasion, there are plenty of great dresses and skirts but if you looking for an every day wear dress, its always best to go basic and accessorize.
Beyond the look of the classic maxi dresses, there are quite a few basics that A.C. offers that have a loose fit look. the #1 seller of our loose fit dresses would be Metilda - being a loose fit A-line style midi dress with quarter sleeves. Later on we would bring in Mefalda which is a short sleeve version.
One dress that is unique and one I really think we need to focus in on is the Alore. This dress combines the basic solid color look with a unique look. We call these bubble dresses because they bubble out at the hips and come back in on the hem. On top of that, they naturally have a loose fit look. My sister in law who usually wears a L or XL loved how she could fit a medium in these dresses because of the loose fit - so if your at odds with what size to get, know these have some room to play with.
We really need more belts to work with. I am wearing the Alore in wine with our tassle hat (coming soon) and a belt of my own. Just because its a bubble dress, does not mean it doesn't work with belts. As long as the belt is high waist, it still gives a good look and lets the dress flare out like its intended. Another thing I love about this dress is the fact that it has side pockets that run a bit deep. The sleeves are quarter sleeves and even without a scarf you have a nice modest round neckline.
These dresses will be restocked in fall colors so keep a lookout here!
